Hands II

This shoot was the first time I used more than one model in a studio. It reminded me of a book a photographer published. The photographer asked people off the street if he could photograph them. The models were complete strangers and were placed in intimate positions. ( A hand on the shoulder or an embrace). In the first few photographs of each shoot there was a sense of tension in the models. However, in the next few photographs the models relaxed into their poses and looked very striking. There were unlikely combinations, but they all seemed to fit.

This shoot had a similar feel. Robin and Cosette do not know each other very well, but when they were photographed together they just seemed to fit. I enjoyed doodling and painting on their arms and I am thankful they let me do so.
